Both Michelle (Bessenaire) and I come from large families. It is our hope that this will be a place to share family news and pictures. If you have something you would like to share, please send it to us.
The other day was hot and humid, as so many days have been lately. Michelle had gone to bed early and I was sitting in our screen house drinking some tea before bed and just relaxing. I looked out and to the south I could see the moon, almost full, through the clouds. Further to the north I notice a star. I walked out into the deck and looked back over the roof of the house so that I could see the entire northern sky. It was clear and the stars were bright. I watched the clouds and saw that they were slowly drifting south; the sky and the weather was clearing. I had to step back into the house to get the tea kettle as it was starting to whistle. While I was inside I heard the wind chime on the porch give a slight stir. I stepped back out to the screen porch. I heard a rumble coming through the treetops, getting louder and closer. Then, a breeze, and the sky cleared. I realized that weather front the weatherman had promised had just come through and that I had witnessed it. How often do things like this take place but I do not notice because I am too busy? Why do I allow myself to be "too busy. "?
mixed emotions tonight, wishing my oldest son Sean a wonderful 33rd birthday tomorrow and sending prayers out to 2 heroes, Bridgeport, CT firefighters who lost their lives today in the line of duty.
A day off means a day at the beach in Galilee, RI and then chowder and clam cakes at Aunt Carrie's
I recently got a new phone, a droid. Its. a smart phone, smarter than me. Now I can blog from anywhere because; there's a blog for that. Welcome to 2010!
