Sometimes there truly are no words.
What happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School is unfathomable.
We struggle to understand the irrational, we seek answers to the unanswerable, we seek to deal and move on.
But How?
I have no answers.
I send my prayers out to those effected, to the families of those who died, to the community of Newtown, to the emergency responders and to the hospital staff who cared for victims.
Educators, students, medical personal, and all of us, across this nation and the world are effected by this.
Maybe that, as painful as it is, it the shinning light in a dark time.
We are all effected because we are all connected, all God's children, all brothers and sisters.
There will be time once the investigation is completed to take steps to decrease the chances of this repeating.
As for now, let us all pray and be there for one another.

Both Michelle (Bessenaire) and I come from large families. It is our hope that this will be a place to share family news and pictures. If you have something you would like to share, please send it to us.

Wayne Bagley
My brother in law, Wayne Bagley, went home to his heavenly reward today. He found out last fall that he had Mesothelioma, and a few weeks ago that he was terminal. Please keep my sister in law, her children, and all the Bagley/Bessenaire family in your prayers. Wayne was 55.

Godspeed Uncle John 12/24/11
John Descoteaux, one of my last uncles on my father's side, went home to God today. There are no words to express my feelings. I remember Uncle John, in the hallway of my mom and dad's house in Brooklyn, showing us how to bowl. He had us tuck a folded bath towel under our arm so that our elbow would stay close to our bodies. I remember him at our house here in Sterling, at our family reunion, cooking on the grill. Funny what you remember. The entire family's thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Martha, Johnny, Lynn, Ray, Danielle, Jake and Hope. May God bless us all in this time of sadness. May Uncle John enjoy Heaven and seeing all those who have been waiting his arrival.
